It’s taken me a long time to learn the importance of doing things for the soul, rather than only challenging the limits of the body or mind. I’ve pushed myself. I’ve achieved. But I’ve also injured myself–and not just physically. Last year I exerted myself as an athlete harder than ever before. I succeeded, but I also crumbled beneath a heap of fried systems. Meditation

If you’re not meditating at least five minutes every day you’re missing out on a tremendous gift. Perhaps this is a bold statement, but I stand by it. Adyashanti characterises meditation as “the act of being in constant renewal.” Each time I read that description there are more layers to it. To some, 5 minutes will barely be a drop. To others, it will be a tidal wave.
